Sophie: Cornflakes and toast. You and all. Yeah I had jam on it as well. How weird is that. Oh yeah, me too. Alright then, you put it down, no you put it down
Kevin: I’ll put it down in a minute
Rosie: you can’t put a price on young love
Kevin: puh, can’t yeah, I’ll show you the next phone bill
Dev: aah, what can I get for you our soon to be neighbour
Sunita: We’ve just bought no.7
Sophie: ah, congratulations, they are alright them houses. I know ours are a bit bigger but size isn’t everything
Dev: yeah, indeed…so what is it you wanted?
Sophie: a job, if there’s one going, you know I thought with molly being off for a bit
Dev: that’s good, that’s er, look I’d really like to help but er,
Sunita: so would I, how about stacking shelf’s for a couple of nights a week
Sophie: umhm, £3.00 an hour
Sunita: £2.50
Sophie: done
Dev: now wait just a minute
Sunita: you can start tonight providing it’s alright with your dad
Sophie: sound, yeah, see you later. See you in a bit Dev
Sophie: you all right dad, you look shattered
Kevin: I’ll be alright once I’ve had my shower
Sophie: alright…I got you your car magazine from the cabin
Kevin: oh great
Sophie and you’ll need a brew to go with that so when we get in I’ll put the kettle on
Kevin: cheers
Sophie: and if you want while it’s boiling I could run upstairs and run you a bath
Kevin: alright, what’s going on
Sophie: nothing
Kevin: come on, last time you offered to run me a bath was father’s day 2003 and then it was only because you wanted the new Barbie horse box
Sophie: alright, I’ve got myself a job at Dev’s part-time.
Kevin: What about your exams?
Sophie: yeah, I’ll still get my revision done, I just feel guilty sponging of you for everything. You know, clothes, cd’s, phonecalls, horseboxes
Kevin: I appreciate the thought, it’s not worth wrecking your prospects for the sake
Sophie: I won’t. I understand that my exams are important, it’s just when rosie was my age all I can remember doing is asking for handouts….please dad I just want the chance to earn some money for myself
Kevin: I suppose it won’t do any harm to give it a trial but the minute it starts interfering with your
Sophie: Cheers Dad
Sunita: So how’s everything with you and your friend now?
Sophie: umm, what friend?
Sunita: Well, I can’t keep up, there’s Ryan and then there’s that boy you got upset over
Sophie: oh, umm, yeah, everything’s fine now thanks
Sunita: So you and him back on?
Sophie: umm, no
Sunita: Well, how can everything be alright
Sophie: umm
Sunita: I used to be upset for months when I got my heart broken
Sophie: yeah it wasn’t…I just wasn’t that bothered about him really
Sunita: So is there someone else?
Sophie: umm no
Sunita: well you just look happy that’s all
Sophie: yeah, I’m going to see Sian this weekend
Sunita: I had a best mate that moved away, really hard staying in touch isn’t it
