Sophie and Sian 23rd August 2010

Sophie: I have practice tonight please will you take me?
Sally: yeah I suppose so,  ay you’ve got your exam results tomorrow
Sophie: oh don’t remind me
Sally: ay, we’ll celebrate, I’ll cook you a nice meal
Sophie: mum, I don’t even know how I’ve done yet
Sally: well I know what you were predicted
Sophie:  no pressure then, what if they’re terrible
Sally: if they’re terrible, we’ll have terrible meal and we’ll all sit down moping…come one they are not going to be that bad
Sophie: how about you Chez? You nervous for tomorrow?
Chesney: eh?
Sophie: exam results?
Chesney: ah, I couldn’t care less, here
Sally: oh what’s this?
Chesney: my card
Sophie: your card? Am I meant to be impressed
Chesney: yeah
Sally: well I think it’s great that Chesney’s shown a bit of business flare, your hardly Oxbridge material
Sophie: hmm, I know who he is trying to impress, that girl he fancies
Chesney: I don’t fancy anybody

Sian: so erm, we still going out to celebrate slash commiserate when we get our results?
Sophie:  oh, I can’t now, my mum’s arranged a family meal
Sian: oh right
Sophie: sorry babe, you know I’d rather be with you
Sian: whatever

Sian: you’d rather spend time with your family than with me
Sophie: I didn’t say that
Sian: it’s our GCSE results Sophie, it’s the most important thing in our education and it decides what happens next so shouldn’t we be together
Sophie: yeah I know that
Sian: then what if I fail then what happens?
Sophie: Sian, you’re not going to fail, right but you know what my mum’s like and you know this is a family thing and you know that I can’t get out of it
Sian: yes you could if you really wanted to
Sophie: that’s not fair, I’m in enough trouble as it is without her even knowing I’m seeing you here
Sian: we’re not seeing each other we’re singing in a choir. I’m talking about bein together when it really matter Sophie
Sophie: yeah and there’s nothing more I want in the world but if we got caught Sian I’d be grounded forever
Sian: it’s not fair
Sophie: yeah I know and I’m sorry but I promise you I will make it up to you
Pastor: right come on now, places please, I want to see some concentration this is serious, the county heats are in two weeks and if we can get through those we get a crack at the nationals. Now you may think St Mat’s are a joke but I’ve seen their Stone Rose medley and it’s hot, so lets take it from the top and show me you believe you can win

Sunita: hey how you doing?
Sophie: oh I’m fine
Sunita: so what’s happened now?
Sophie: well you know how we gt our GCSE results tomorrow, well me and Sian have had a massive row about it
Sunita: does that mean you are never going to speak to her again?
Sophie: well no not exactly
Sunita: so it’s not the end of the world then is it?
Sophie: oh don’t try and cheer me up Sunita
Sunita: do you think you’ll feel like this, this time next week?
Sophie: bet your going to tell me to smile now aren’t you?
Sunita: I wouldn’t be so patronising
Sophie: see you later
Sunita: see you later love
